Inventory and strategy

Inventory that describes the present state of horticultural bioeconomy which is input for the development of a strategy/approach to stimulate the transition of the horticulture to a bioeconomy.

Inventory:
The partners will make an inventory of the three regions in the UK, Belgium and the Netherlands, that describes the present state of horticultural bioeconomy in general and specifically for the three regions including challenges and potentials. The inventory serves as inspiration for the platform activities and serve as input for the strategy/approach that will be developed to stimulate the transition of the horticulture to a bioeconomy.

The Inventory can be found in the ‘publications’ section.

Strategy:
Development of a strategy/approach to stimulate the transition of the horticulture to a bio economy. This strategy/approach will be based on the experiences in the project and elsewhere in the European Union.

The strategy is ready and presented in the brochure 'From waste to source of income! Better use of horticultural waste streams'. On 18 September 2020 the first copy of the brochure was presented to vice governor Adri Bom Lemstra of the province of South-Holland. The brochure can be found at the publication section.

The back ground documents for the brochure can also be found at the publication section.
